How to Apply for a Turkey Visa?
If you are a citizen of India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, or Thailand and you want to visit Turkey, you need to apply for a visa.
The validity of your tourist visa will depend on the purpose of your trip. The most common types of visas that Turkish citizens need are tourist visas and student visas.
To apply for a Turkish visa, you must first obtain a visa application form from the Turkish embassy or consulate in your home country. You must complete and return the form with all required documents to the embassy or consulate.
The embassy or consulate can give you specific instructions on how to submit your application. Once your application is received and reviewed, you will be notified about the results by mail. Required documents for Indian citizens include a valid passport with at least six months remaining before the desired travel date, a photo copy of the passport page containing the applicant’s photograph, and two recent passport-style photos. Indonesian citizens must also provide their national identity card number and proof of residence such as an electricity bill or lease agreement. Applicants should note that they will be asked to pay a non-refundable processing fee of USD 50 as well as any applicable taxes.
Can I Visit Turkey Without a Turkey Visa?
If you are a citizen of India or Indonesia, you can visit Turkey without a visa. However, if you are visiting from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria or Yemen you will need to obtain a visa in advance.
