To be eligible for an American visa, a Norwegian American or Japanese citizen must have a valid passport, proof of residence in the U.S., and sufficient funds to cover any expenses associated with the visa application process. How to Apply for an American Visa
If you are a non-citizen national of one of the following countries, you may be eligible for an American visa: Norway, Japan. To apply for a visa, you must first meet the requirements set by your country’s embassy or consulate in the United States.
Once you have determined that you are eligible for a visa and met the requirements set by your country’s embassy or consulate, follow these steps to apply:
1. Complete an online application form or print out an application form and fill it out completely.
2. Make two copies of your application form. One copy should be kept with your original application forms while the other copy should be stored in a secure location outside of the United States.
3. Submit both copies of your application form along with all required documents to the embassy or consulate responsible for issuing visas to nationals from your country.
4. Wait for a response from the embassy or consulate before proceeding any further. If you do not receive a response from the embassy or consulate within 30 days, please contact them directly to inquire about your case status.
